Thank you for another successful Penguin Swim!

THANK YOU to all of our participating Penguins, their supporters, and everyone who helped to make the 19th Annual Atlantic General Hospital Penguin Swim on January 1st a success! The conditions weren’t optimal, with an air temperature hovering around 48 degrees and overcast skies, but that didn’t stop the more than 660 participants and countless spectators from enjoying the day. To date, the 19th annual event has raised more than $80,000 for Atlantic General Hospital.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support this year from Event Sponsors and those who joined us New Year's Day. Things would not have run so smoothly without the support of our volunteers – thank you to each and every one of you! Special thanks to our Event Chair, Patricia Ilczuk-Lavanceau. We cannot thank Patricia enough for her 4 years of leadership and dedication as the Penguin Swim event chair.

Sal Fasano, the 2014 Penguin Swim Event Chair, and the event committee members invite everyone to return and bring their family and friends to the Princess Royale on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 for our 20th Annual Penguin Swim!
